All of these blogs should be titled the same thing:)
Spent a good few hours freezing my ass off extra today. Spent some serious time looking for a missing tote. We found it 2 minutes before quitting time... Which was huge...Done thinking about work away from work..."j

A perfect day... Almost...
Today I was having a perfect day(self assessed perfect day). Had helped get the days work done in under three hours we had the day almost wrapped up, and by wrapped up I mean enough to where the swing shift will be doing tomorrows work tonight...Our crew knows how to handle business... The guys that we brought on are all valuable people to our company and our team. And they all seem to be positive people. Even down to the people they have brought in through the temp agencies...
Then about three hours after the first punch I start getting hate mail!!
I remained calm for awhile, but when it kept coming, and then I started to get really pissed... It became really hard to stay focused on what I was trying to do, doing math in the thousands in zero degree temperatures, with a leaning stack of product staring me in the face...*sigh*
Home now, feel better.

Before I lay me down to sleep...
I probably said a lot of hurtful things today to more than one person... I know what's said is said, and what's done is done, and I am sorry.

About the daily grind...
I've just started this blog to relay to the world the coming and goings of the business that I am in.
First off I am Lean Six Sigma trained at a Green/Black Belt levels. And if you don't know what that is, just Google it. I head this first as not until just recently have I seen how well the training has worked, and the value it carries.
Second, I'm a trained Internal Auditor for the company I work for in regards to ISO 9001:2008. Although I have resigned my position as the SME(Subject Matter Expert)due to furthering my education in Mathematics.
I leave the third and most challeginf aspect of my job for last. I'm also the Inventory Control Manager/QA for our site and have held that position for about the last 6 1/2 years. I do this job counting and trying to maintain a 98% accuracy. From fish bait to caviar we do it all in zero degrees all year-round, and even colder. We dress for the elements, but when it's 80 degrees out it makes the freezer suit into a sweat suit. Very interesting conditions. All the time surrounded by forklift traffic. Semi's being loaded and unloaded every quarter hour. That's enough about work...haha, these blogs will probably be short as I don't really care to think about work when I'm not there. Ttyl.
